A Tribute to John and Lorenzo!

We are very fortunate as a community to have John and Lorenzo as our maintenance crew.

Day in and day out they work hard to keep up all the landscaping in the park, and also repair, maintain, or replace dozens of items as needed.

The sheer size of the park is daunting, not to mention that most of the landscaping consists of steep slopes. Not the easiest to get up and down. Plus, we have a 3/4 acre grassy park that needs regular care.

And, of course, they handle the control of gophers and other vermin, constantly fix broken irrigation lines and sprinklers, and always take care of special projects when asked.

Next time you see them out and about working, give them a shout out!

Everything is looking so green after the rains!
Flowers are blooming!
The trees on Richland Rd were trimmed down a few months ago, and now they are starting to fill in again.
We have huge slopes around the park that need constant care. This is part of the park most of us do not see (off Rock Park).
Imagine having to weed all this?
The front trees constantly shed debris over the sidewalk on Richland Rd. John and Lorenzo work hard to keep the sidewalk clean every day.
Another huge area to upkeep! Looking so green after the rain…
All the trees and bushes are looking so good!
These slopes are steep!
It’s a long day climbing up and down these slopes!
